"Jorge!!! I really need to give you a BIG THANK YOU!!!! You SAVED my life!!! Jorge I'm clean for 41 days!!!!! Can you believe it???? I started my "clean journey" the last time I emailed you. I used the subs as you advised…. The subs helped alot with the withdrawals. I think I was using the subs for 6 or 7 days when I also stopped using it. The withdrawals was not as bad as I thought it would be and all went well. Some days was harder than other days but I kept myself busy… Jorge, I now can't believe I was wasting my life with the bad habbit!!! Even my sons saw the difference in my "life style pattern"!!!! I got tears in my eyes, and it was the best moment I had in a long time, I felt so proud to show them I want to be a better mom and that they can see the change!!! My family is also standing behind me now.... Hope to hear from you soon!!!! LOVE YOU!!!...." MN (female)
UPDATE: 10 Months Clean: "Hi Jorge!!!! Things are going GREAT!!!! I haven't used any drugs or heroin since our last emails. And I don't even plan to ever go back!!!! I haven't feel this good for a long long time. The nicest feeling is even the people in town come to me and say I look so good and healthy!!!!! The difference in my appearance is so remarkable... I would really like to help others in need as you have helped me…. Enjoy your day!!!!!!!..." MN (female)
"Thank you for your site. It is helping me through my "kick"... I decided that I was going to suffer this time because I really should know better by now. More than all of the advice (which you are full of excellent advice), the encouragement you slipped in with it is what really got me. Thank you again" JB (female)
UPDATE: 11 Months Clean: "hi. :)... I am doing very well,..! Still clean and I am going to nursing school full time,... Your email actually couldn't have come at a better time... Thanks for your time Jorge. It means alot :) ..." JB (female)
"I'm so glad I came past your site. I'm only on day 4 of weaning myself with suboxones (down to 2mg), I know I have a battle a head of me, but your site is helping to give me to the courage to fight…. I've done it before and this time it will be for good. I'm doing this for me. Will let you know of my progress in the days to come..." MP (female)

You help save lives. Keep it up!..." MP (female)
…And if they can do it, then you can do it too!
All of these women had 2 things in common: They were determined to quit this drug and turn their lives around. And that’s exactly what they did. They quit heroin and changed their lives as well. And that’s the best way to quit this drug and stay clean for good, is to go to battle with the thought and intent of quitting heroin and changing your life as well.
Some of you may already have a good life; a house, a car, a job, a family, and a little bit of money. But sooner or later you can lose it all. You can lose everything. You can lose your job, your car, your house, your money, your health, and your freedom as well. And if you have kids, then you can lose them too. You can lose your whole family because of heroin. And if you’re shooting up then at any time you can lose your life as well. You can overdose and die. Fatal overdoses happen every day.
You can be on top one day and hit rock bottom the next. And sometimes, not all the time, but sometimes, some women and even young girls as well fall into dancing, stripping, escorting… and even prostitution. It happens all the time. You just don’t hear about it too often because stuff like that doesn’t make the news, but it’s actually quite common in most parts of the world where heroin remains prevalent.
Heroin addiction can do more harm and more damage to a woman’s life, than it can to a mans. Men can go homeless and manage to live on the streets for some time, but “the streets” is no place for a woman, (couch surfing is hard enough). The drug world is no place for you and being addicted to heroin is no way to live. Nothing good can come from using heroin.
However,… if you quit this drug now then you can save yourself from a life of misery. And if you’ve already hit rock bottom, then don’t give up yet; for there is still much hope for you. And you can begin to change your life, starting now. And the rewards for quitting heroin can be much more than what you had hoped for.

TIP: If at all possible, you may want to start taking some "Milk of Magnesia" a couple of days before quitting heroin in order to let go of some of that constipated waste from within your intestines. Milk of Magnesia, (magnesium hydroxide), is a milky-white liquid medicine that is used as a hydrating laxative and relieves constipation within six hours or less. And doing this before quitting will reduce continual bowel movements.
There are a few ways to quit heroin. And how you do so is entirely up to you:

Quitting heroin cold turkey with the help of OTC meds:
Quitting heroin cold turkey with the help of OTC meds: If you’re going to do it cold turkey then do it cold turkey. But don’t worry and don’t be afraid - quitting cold turkey does not necessarily mean completely cold without anything. In fact, you might be able to make it through the first 3 to 4 days with the help of OTC meds such as Imodium,Tamaget or Zantac, ZzzQuil, all of which can be purchased at Walmart or any pharmaceutical store, over the counter and off the shelf.
|
The Imodium, with the help of Tamaget or Zantac will help with the rest of the heroin withdrawal symptoms. Imodium contains Loperamide which is an opioid drug. And contrary to popular belief, Imodium (Loperamide) does indeed cross the blood brain barrier when taken in high dosages along with an acid reducer such as Tamaget or Zantac all washed down with a glass of grapefruit juice as well. And for those of you who are not able to obtain other medications such as Tramadol, Suboxone, Subutex or methadone, then obtaining and taking Imodium at high levels may work well for you.
For example, Day 1: If you were to quit heroin today, (do your last bag today), then once you begin to get sick you can begin to take 400mg (2 tablets) of Tagamet, followed by 24mg (12 caplets) to 30mg (15 caplets) of Imodium (Loperamide) (or even less) every 5 to 6 or 7 to 8 hours, or as needed, all washed down with a glass of grapefruit juice. (Some people may be able to get by with smaller dosages as well. i.e. 16mg to 18mg every 10 to 12 hours or so).
Day 2: Then the next day, (Day 2), you can start off at a lower dosage of Imodium. For example, 400mg of Tagamet followed by 20mg of Imodium, every 5 to 6 or 7 to 8 hours, or as needed, all washed down with a glass of grapefruit juice.
Day 3: By Day 3, you can lower your Imodium dosage even more: i.e. 400mg of Tagamet followed by 18mg of Imodium, washed down with grapefruit juice. It all depends on how you feel by Day 2 and Day 3. You can stay at 24mg, 26mg or 30mg for the first 3 to 4 days or you can begin to taper down as well.
Day 4: By Day 4 or even Day 5 you can begin to lower your Imodium dosage by half: i.e. 10mg to 15mg of Imodium yet continue with 400mg of Tagamet in order to get the best results from the low 10mg to 15mg of Imodium (Loperamide).
From there, the worst is over and you can begin to decrease your Imodium intake even more or simply take as needed. However, it’s never a good idea to stay on high levels of Imodium for more than the first 3 to 4 to 5 days tops. But of course, that's up to you. But with the help of OTC meds along with frequent hot baths throughout the day, quitting heroin cold turkey might work well for you.
For more information on how to quit heroin cold turkey please read my articles, “How to Quit Heroin Cold Turkey with OTC Meds” followed by “How to Survive the First 7 Days When Quitting Heroin”.
WARNING: Pregnant women should not attempt to quit heroin cold turkey. Please read my article, “Quitting Heroin While Pregnant” for further details and instructions on how to quit heroin while pregnant.

Quitting heroin warm turkey with pharmaceutical drugs:
Quitting heroin warm turkey with the help of pharmaceutical drugs: If you’re able to obtain pain and/or anxiety medications such as Tramadol, Vicodin, Valiums, or Xanax, then you may be able to quit heroin warm turkey with the help of such meds.
When quitting heroin warm turkey you would take a pain medication such as Tramadol for example (as needed) along with frequent hot baths throughout the day. Tramadol, is an opioid pain medication which can help make going through withdrawals a lot more easier than quitting heroin cold turkey. |
Valiums (or Xanax) for example, is benzodiazepine derivative drug and can be used to treat anxiety, insomnia, and most importantly, symptoms of opiate (heroin) withdrawal.
However, these meds are to be taken as needed and not to get high and comfortable. Use them only as a crutch to relieve pain, anxiety, nausea, diarrhea, and stomach cramps during the first few days of detox. And then you can begin to taper down after the first 4 to 5 days, or as soon as you’re ready to do so.
WARNING: Do not take both Valiums (or Xanax) and Tramadol at the same time as this can cause dizziness, slowed breathing and even respiratory failure. It’s never a good idea to take 2 central nervous system depressants at the same time. Don’t mix drugs.
If you’re going to use a pain medication along with an anti-anxiety medication as well then it would be best to take them many hours apart taking the Tramadol (opiate pain killer) during the day and then the Valiums or Xanax (anti-anxiety medication) later in the evening around bed time in order to help relieve anxiety and restlessness and possibly get some sleep as well. And if you’re able to obtain these medications then quitting heroin warm turkey may work well for you.

Quitting heroin with the help of Suboxone:
Quitting heroin with Suboxone: If you’re able to get your hands on Suboxone or Subutex as well, then you may want to try to quit heroin in this manner. Suboxone (Buprenorphine) is a semi-synthetic opioid medication which is used to help addicts quit heroin and opiate addiction by placing the tablet or film strip under the tongue and allowing it to dissolve completely.
|
Once the Buprenorphine has reached and filled the opioid receptors in the brain then you can begin to feel better within an hour or less. And when taken correctly Suboxone can work wonders.
Suboxone has saved many lives and it can save yours too. But there is a small catch, which is really not a catch at all. In order to take Suboxone, you have to wait until you’re dope sick (all heroin gone from the brain) before taking that first Suboxone tablet or that first Suboxone film strip, as taking Suboxone too soon can cause you to go into precipitated withdrawal.
Most people wait 24 hours or more before taking that first Suboxone dosage. But once you get that first sub in you effectively then you’re home free. Then from there it’s just a matter of tapering down from the subs and allowing your body and brain to return back to normal. And if you’re able to get your hands on some subs then this method may work well for you.
For more information on how to obtain Suboxone and how to quit heroin with Suboxone then please read my article, “Quitting Heroin with Suboxone”.

Quitting heroin with the help of Methadone:
Quitting heroin with Methadone: If you’re going to quit heroin with methadone then the best thing to do would be to get on and get off of the methadone as quickly and as safely as possible. i.e. 10, 20, 30 to 40 days max. And even that may be too long for most. Because the longer you stay on methadone then the harder it gets to quit that drug as well.
Methadone is a full opioid agonist which is able to relieve all withdrawal symptoms and cravings as well, thus allowing you to make a smooth transition from the heroin to the methadone and continue to work and function like a normal human being. And while you may be able to get some methadone off the streets, you may also be able to obtain a prescription for methadone from a regular family doctor as well. And this of course would allow you to have more control over your dosage levels and duration of use. But if you’re going to get your methadone from a methadone clinic then you’re going to have to beg and plead with them to help you get on and off of the methadone as quickly as possible.
Let them know that you’re serious about quitting heroin and staying clean for good, but that you also don’t want to get hooked on the methadone as well. Let them know that you’ll comply in every which way possible, providing clean drug test results, going to every meeting and counseling session and doing whatever it takes to stay clean for good. And in doing so, they just might help you to get on and get off the methadone as fast and as safely as possible.

Quitting heroin with the help of Kratom:
Quitting heroin with the help of Kratom: Quitting Heroin with Kratom is an all natural means of reducing heroin and opiate withdrawals significantly.
Kratom is a leaf of a tree which is used as an alternative and natural means of treatment for many conditions such as chronic pain, depression, anxiety, and most importantly, heroin and opiate withdrawals. Kratom has also been used for methadone dependence detox in New Zealand as well. |
Kratom (botanical name Mitragyna Speciosa) consists of over 25 alkaloids (chemical compounds), one of which is called Mitragynine. Mitragynine is an opioid agonist, which means that it has an attraction towards the opioid receptors in the brain. When in withdrawal, Mitragynine binds to these receptors and is able to reduce heroin and opiate withdrawal symptoms.
Kratom is not an opioid. It is not a drug. It is a natural leaf which is sold in the US, Canada and in other countries for many different purposes, including heroin and opiate withdrawal. It is sold in the form of leaves, crushed leaves and in fine herbal powder as well. (Fine Kratom powder is preferred). Once a person consumes kratom (by mixing it with juice and drinking it, or drinking it as a tea), heroin withdrawals are reduced greatly within 20 to 30 minutes.
A person only needs to take kratom 4 times per day for the first 3 days and then begin to reduce their intake of Kratom for Day 4, 5 and 6. After that, that’s it. You’re done. You’ve just quit heroin with an all natural plant. And then from there it’s just a matter of time and recovery and rebuilding your health.
For more information on Kratom, how to quit heroin with kratom, how to take it and where to buy kratom, please read my article, “How to Quit Heroin with Kratom”.

Quitting heroin in a detox/rehab center:
Quitting heroin in a detox center: If you want to just hurry up and get it over with and move on with your life without having to worry about taking Imodium, Tramadol, Suboxone, Methadone, or any of that stuff for that matter, then you may want to consider quitting heroin in a medically supervised detox center. And quitting heroin in a detox center is as simple as finding a detox and then just going and doing your detox there.
A medically supervised detox can last anywhere from 5 to 10 days. And during your detox they may use medications such as Clonidine for example, which is a non-opiate medication that helps to reduce cold chills, sweats, restlessness and anxiety as well. Some detox centers even use Suboxone for the first 3 to 4 days of detox. But the best thing about quitting heroin in a detox center is that once you’re done, you’re done. That’s it. No more drugs. And you’re free to go and continue on the road to recovery. And for some of you, this may be a quick and safe solution as well.
Quitting heroin in a rehabilitation center: If you’re able to do so, and you’re able to get away for some time, then you may want to consider quitting heroin in a drug rehabilitation center. Relocation, isolation and inaccessibility to opiates such as heroin are just part of the benefits of going into rehab.

When you're in rehab, you're safe. You're far away from the dope spot, your dope-friends and any influential settings and environments.
Furthermore, going away for several weeks or more can give you enough time to finally break the heroin cycle and allow you to return to your right mind. And you can use that time to rebuild your health and get professional counseling for your personal problems as well. Then, you can begin to see your life in a whole new light and make plans accordingly. You can come out of rehab a new and stronger woman and stay clean for good. And if you’re able to do so then going to rehab may be the best choice for you. |

Quitting heroin while pregnant:
If you’re pregnant and want to quit heroin then talk to your doctor about being placed on a Methadone or Subutex program for the remainder of your pregnancy as methadone and subutex are the only safe ways to come off and stay off of the heroin for good without hurting your baby.
When you’re pregnant, you can’t quit heroin cold turkey without taking the risk of a miscarriage or causing brain damage to you baby. Heroin withdrawals can cause brain damage and even death to your unborn child. Methadone and Subutex are the only safe and painless ways to make a safe transition from heroin to another opioid or partial opioid replacement drug.
Talk to your doctor. Come clean to your doctor. Ask them for help. You wont get in trouble. Let them know that you want to quit this drug for good, in a safe, supervised and controlled manner. Talk to your doctor. Don’t be afraid to reach out for help. They’re there to help you in any way that they can. And they have great respect and admiration for those who come clean and reach out for help. Do it for your baby, and do it for yourself. Quit this drug, once and for all.
"Hi Jorge, I'm writing to tell you that I finally did go to my doctor yesterday and came completely clean with her and she was so supportive! I wanted to thank you for your advice to go and tell her because I'm not sure I'd of had the guts without your encouragement and the support of my family. Thanks,.." SR (female)
So please, don’t wait any longer and don’t let another day go by. The best time to tell your doctor is now. No matter where you are in your pregnancy, the time to reach out for help is now. And the sooner you do so then the better off you’ll be.

Reach out for help:
Don’t be afraid to reach out for help, even if it means coming clean to the people you love and care about the most. And if this applies to you, then you may want to consider coming clean to your mother; coming clean to your father; coming clean to your family; coming clean to your partner; coming clean to your friends and loved ones and reaching out for help.
Not many people are able to get the help they need when secrets are kept to themselves. And many times, those who do come clean and reach out for help are the ones who manage to quit this drug and stay clean for good. The more people who know about your drug problem then the greater your chances are for getting the help you need and quitting this drug, once and for all. And once you do come clean and you’re honest about the whole matter, then you can be free to be yourself. You won’t have to hide anything any more and you will no longer have to live a double life. Furthermore, once you come clean to your loved ones, they'll be keeping a watchful eye over you making it difficult for you to turn back to your old ways. And it always helps to be accountable to someone. This is your chance to prove yourself to them and to yourself as well.
You may also want to consider locating and attending a local NA meeting as NA groups and meetings can be found all over the world. And you may actually find some very good friendships there also. And if you have no one at all then you’re more than welcome to contact me as well. I’ll do whatever I can to help. But whatever you do, don’t be afraid to reach out for help.

Burn your bridges:
If you want to increase your chances of quitting this drug and staying clean for good, then the best thing to do is to delete your dealers’ phone number from your cell phone and possibly change your phone number as well.
Deleting your dealers’ phone number may help you and deter you from calling him for dope. But many times, the dope dealers will call you and even come looking for you if they don’t hear from you after a while. If you’re strong enough to say no to your dealer then a change in your phone number may not be necessary for some. Simply tell him you’re done. That’s it. No more dope for you. |
But if you’re not able to handle the temptation or simply don't want to take the chance, then you may want to change your cell phone number as well.
If your partner is using heroin then do everything you can to get him to quit with you. Ask him to take charge for the both of you and help the both of you to quit this drug, once and for all. Otherwise, it’s going to be very difficult for you to quit heroin while your boyfriend keeps using. And if you have friends who use drugs and are making it difficult for you to stay clean, then you may want to cut them off as well. If you’re trying to quit heroin and change your life, then the last thing you need in your life right now are friends who use drugs – especially, heroin.
If they want to change then help them. But if not, then the best thing to do is to separate yourself from them and move on with your life. And if you want to quit heroin, stay clean, and turn your life around then burn your bridges and don’t look back. Keep pressing on and keep moving forward.

Get rid of all drug paraphernalia:
The best way to help you quit this drug and stay clean for good is to destroy and get rid of all of your drug paraphernalia, once and for all.
Too many times, girls leave an extra needle and some cotton balls hidden around the house. They save foil strips and empty baggies as well to scrape them out later. |
But by doing so, you’re setting yourself up for failure knowing that at any time you can easily turn back and use.
The best thing to do is to find, collect, destroy and get rid of all of your drug paraphernalia, once and for all.
Get rid of your foil, get rid of your straws, and get rid of your empty baggies and balloons. And if you’re shooting up then break your needles, all of them, and get rid of them for good. Get rid of your spoons, get rid of your tie belt, and get rid of your cotton balls too. Destroy and get rid of everything, once and for all.

But whatever you do, don’t stand still and don't slow down now. Figure out how you’re going to quit this drug and then do it – start the battle and win!
During the battle:
The first 3 to 7 days will be the greatest challenge of your life. Because with or without Suboxone or any medication, there will be a battle - a huge battle; The battle to refuse to use no matter how hard it gets.
If you’re going to do it cold turkey with OTC meds then all you have to do is make it through the first 3 to 4 days and then the worst should be over by the end of Day 4.
If you’re going to do this with pain medication or Suboxone then take the meds and begin to taper down according to your taper plan or whenever you’re ready to do so. And then from there it’s just a matter of time, recovery and rebuilding your health.
However, your health, strength and well being will not return easily on its own. You have to help yourself by feeding your body with nutritious foods, drinking lots of water and taking whatever vitamins and herbal supplements you’re able to get your hands on. If you want to make it through this battle and feel better as quickly as possible then you have to do everything you can to rebuild and get your health back. Moreover, during the next several days your mind is going to come against you like never before and try to trick you into giving up and using heroin, even if it’s just for one time, just to feel better. But don’t fall for it and don’t let it get you, as doing so will bring you right back down to where you started, and quite possibly worse than ever before.
If you’re able to make it past Day 1, Day 2, Day 3 or more, then just keep on going all the way to Day 40. Keep a calendar on your wall and mark it out all the way to day 40 and just keep on going till you get there. Every day that goes by will make you stronger. And it will prove to you that you really can do this. And if at any time, you begin to become overwhelmed with the thoughts of giving up to use, then don’t cave in and don't give up yet. Instead, put on the gloves and begin to fight like you’ve never fought before. Because whether you realize it or not, this is a fight - a fight for your life and a fight for your freedom as well; freedom from heroin slavery. If you lose the fight, then you lose your freedom, and quite possibly, your life as well. But if you win this fight, then you can be free and become the woman that you were meant to be – a clean, healthy, decent woman.
And if you need reinforcement then reach out for help. Call someone, anyone, but don’t be afraid to reach out for help. Call, text or email a friend. Go to a local NA meeting or dial your national drug addiction helpline. Find a counselor and get some counseling. Reach out for help.
You can also avoid relapse by taking immediate action. Once those thoughts of using heroin come into your mind then you can take action and do something different right away. You can go out for a walk; go out for a jog; go to the park or go to the mall. You can even take a replacement drug such as Valerian Root capsules for example to help relieve anxiety. You can also take a hot bath to help you relax. But whatever you do, don’t stand still and don't allow yourself to fall. Start fighting those thoughts, take action and do something different right away to deter yourself from using.
And during this time, you may also want to keep reading this website over and over again until your mind becomes brainwashed with the thoughts of quitting this drug and turning your life around. We are what we eat. And in the same sense, the more you read, then the more you become what you read. And if you begin to apply the instructions mentioned on this website to your life… then your life will begin to change.
Throughout this whole entire website, I have laid out the blue print for success in quitting heroin, staying clean, and turning your life around. But it’s up to you to put it to work and into action in your own life as well. And if you do so, then I guarantee you, your life will change for good, in one form or another. Therefore, start the battle, fight the battle, and win.

After the battle - Recovery:
If you’re going to stay on Suboxone, methadone or pain medication for a little while longer then that’s entirely up to you. However, once you come off the heroin, the Suboxone, the methadone, the pain pills and/or any other kind of opiate medication, then you’re going to go through what is known as PAWS - Post Acute Withdrawal Syndrome; or in other words, the after effects of coming off of heroin and opiate drugs.
Symptoms of PAWS include moments of anger, guilt, stress, anxiety, depression, and resentment towards others as well. Once you come off of heroin then you’re going to feel everything – raw, (and this can last for several weeks or more). This is normal. PAWS is normal. And everyone has to go through it if they’re going to come off of the heroin for good. But don’t worry, you can still do this. And you can manage the PAWS symptoms and speed up the recovery process as well. |
Yes. It takes time for the brain and the body to recover. It takes time for the brain to return back to normal or to as normal as it’s going to get.
All of this takes time. But in the mean time, you have to keep telling yourself that this is just PAWS and this is just temporary and all of this shall pass. Furthermore, there are plenty of things that you can do to help your brain and body heal and recuperate much, much faster as well. For example:
Health and Nutrition: You can begin to drink lots and lots of water daily which is the most important element needed for your recovery. You can begin to eat small but healthy meals to feed your body with protein, energy and nutrition. You can begin to eat foods that grow in the sunlight in order to obtain that energy from the sun.
Vitamins: You can also start taking vitamins, multivitamins and supplements such as L-Tyrosine, Niacin (a form of vitamin B which helps with depression), vitamin B6, vitamin C, wide-spectrum mineral supplement containing Zinc, Phosphorus, Copper, Magnesium and Potassium.
TIP: Neosporin (Maximum Strength Neosporin+PainRelief) First Aid Antibiotic/Pain Relieving Cream works great for helping to heal track marks and even facial pimples as well.
Exercise: You can start doing some form of exercise 4 to 5 days per week such as taking long fast walks, jogging, running or riding a bike as doing so will begin to increase endorphins. And endorphins are the body's natural pain relievers which act like opiates to reduce pain and bring about a feeling of well-being. You can even start lifting weights, (light weights) just to become toned.
By eating small healthy meals, drinking lots of water, taking vitamins and herbal supplements and doing some form of exercise, you can begin to help your brain and body heal much, much faster than what you would normally do so without. And in time, you will begin to feel better than ever before and you’ll be able to get in good shape as well.
WARNING/TIP: Many times, when women quit heroin they tend to begin to eat a lot of food and over eat thus causing them to gain extra weight fast. But you can avoid this from happening to you by taking on and maintaining a healthy lifestyle from here on out. And if you’re already over weight then the best time to begin to do something about it is now.
There’s nothing better than living a clean, healthy life style. You’ll feel great and feel so much better about yourself. And a healthy lifestyle helps to counter act drug addiction as well. It won’t be easy, but it can be done. And you can do it too. And you can become a new and stronger woman sooner than you think. You can use this opportunity to change your life and become a new and better person, for the rest of your life.
Staying clean with Vivitrol: If you’re not able to stay clean from heroin no matter how hard you try, then you may want to consider Vivitrol, which is a once-a-month shot that blocks the effects of heroin and all opiate drugs for 30 days. Vivitrol has helped many people stay clean and it can help you too. For more information on Vivitrol, please read my article, “Staying Clean With Vivitrol”.

Create a new and better life for yourself:
Some of you may have a good life right now, but unfortunately some of you don’t. And for those of you who still have a good life right now, then the best thing to do is to quit this drug now while you still have the chance to do so. Because no matter how good your life is now, it can only get better without heroin in the picture.
And for those of you who have a messed up life now, then believe it or not, things can change. You can change. Your whole life can change. You can quit this drug and turn your life around. No matter where you’re at now or how low you’ve fallen, you can still get back up and turn your life around. You can still create a new and better life for yourself no matter how old or how young you are. But it won’t happen by itself. You have to make it happen or die trying. Do the right thing first, then worry about others, and then take care of yourself. This is the formula for ultimate success in life. |
Principles first, then others, and then us last. And if you’re not sure of what is right or what is wrong in any area of your life then ask; find out. Reach out and search for the answers. Find out what is right, and then start doing it. But the most important thing in the world is honesty. And the best thing to do in every area of your life is to be honest with everyone and in everything you do and then everything else will fall into place. Honesty, loyalty, decency, love, kindness, morality and respect for others are all attributes to learn, practice and live by each and every day in order to begin to have a new and better life. For without such, nothing will change.
If you’ve done someone wrong then you need to do everything you can to make amends and make it right. This is called restitution. And our lives can’t begin to get better until we’ve done everything we can to make things right. Furthermore, whenever we begin to do what is right for the sake of others then it helps us to change and continue on the right path as well.
Don’t get me wrong; some of us may still have to pay for things which we’ve done in the past. This is called sowing and reaping. We reap what we sow. But the best thing to do is to take the hits, get it over with, and then keep moving forward no matter how hard things get.
Set goals for yourself: In order to have something to look forward to, you have to set goals and create a step-by-step plan on how to achieve those goals. And then perform those steps until you’ve reached and accomplished your goals. Furthermore, you can begin to set and achieve goals in every area of your life. i.e. values, morals, relationships, personal development, health, education, training, work, finances, etc.
If there are things that you simply don’t like about yourself then make it a goal to change. For example, our behavior, personality, our manner of thinking, how we act, how we treat others, our health etc. Make a list of the areas that you want to change about yourself and then begin to work on those areas one by one.
If you want to start a new career and change your life circumstances then you can set goals to do so. For example, if you don’t have a high school diploma then you can contact your local high school for information on how to prepare for and take your G.E.D/High School Diploma test. G.E.D preparation classes are offered just about everywhere in the state. And believe it or not, it's not that difficult to take and pass your G.E.D test. And if I can do it (which I did), after many years of drug use, then you can do it too! And once you get your G.E.D, then it can open doors for better jobs and/or to further your education as well.
If you want a better job, then you need to go out and look for a better job. And don't stop looking until you find it. If you want to start a new career then choose a new career. If you want to go to college, then go to college. You can do anything you want to do and become anything you want to be. However, it should also be noted that jobs and careers with the greatest sense of fulfillment and satisfaction are jobs that involve helping others in one form or another. It feels good to help others because that’s what we’re supposed to be doing – is helping others. Therefore, if you want to have a meaningful and fulfilling life, then you may want to consider a meaningful and fulfilling career.
And there are many meaningful and fulfilling careers to choose from. For example:

And there are many other careers that can be beneficial to others as well. For example, if you want to help people feel better about themselves then you may want to consider going to a Cosmetology school and becoming a professional Cosmetologists.
If you love animals, then you may want to consider going to a veterinary school and becoming a Veterinarian. And you can help people who have pets in need of medical attention. Pets are like family. And by caring for the health of animals, you’ll be helping the pets and the owners as well by caring for their pets. Yes, you can help people by helping their pets.
You can become a nurse, a doctor, a counselor, a teacher or anything you want to be. You can become whatever you want to be, if you put your mind to it and put in the work.
Training and education is important. However, it should also be noted that it is also possible for you to begin to live your life in such a manner to where things can begin to work out for you even without a high school diploma or a college degree. But for those of you who are able to do so, and want to do so as well, then you may want to consider going to school and furthering your training and education in order to obtain a new and better job.
It may take some time to go to school and get the training and education you need but the time is going to go by either way. And in the mean time, you can work a regular job and go to school at the same time. And you can still help people while working a regular job as well just by showing love, kindness and respect to everyone who comes your way and being there for them when they need someone to talk to.
Being kind to others is one of the most important things that you could ever do in your life. And how we treat others is going to have a great effect upon how others will treat us. But most importantly, we can have a positive effect on the lives of others just by showing them kindness and love. You can make a difference in someone else's life no matter where you’re at or where you work. And you can begin to become a positive contribution to the lives of all those around you and everyone who comes your way, starting now.

And if you’re a mother or a wife or both then focus on becoming the best wife and/or the best mother that you could possibly be. Being a mother is the most important job you’ll ever have. And raising your children correctly is the most important thing you’ll ever do in your life. And if you want to stay at home with your kids or home school your kids as well, then you may want to consider starting a home business.
There are plenty of things that you can do from home and on the internet to make a good living from home and online. |
And working from home and being home with the kids is the best thing in the world. But whatever you do, and no matter what the circumstances are in your life right now, the best thing to do is to start setting goals in every area of your life and then start doing them. Start taking the steps to achieve those goals and don’t give up until you’re done. This will give you purpose and meaning in your life. And in order for us to have something to look forward to, then we have to set goals and do everything we can to achieve and accomplish those goals, and then let life take care of the rest.
If you want to have a better life, then do everything you can to quit this drug and turn your life around. Do everything you can to change yourself and change your life as well. And if you can’t change where you’re at, or simply want to start your life all over again somewhere new then you may want to consider “relocating”.
You can move to another house; move to a new apartment; move to another city, move to another state, move to another province, move to another region or move to another country as well. But if you want to start all over again somewhere new, then you may want to consider relocating to a new environment for a fresh new start. But no matter where you are or where you go, only you can determine the outcome of how your life will turn out to be. And what you do now will determine how the rest of your life turns out. But if you can manage to quit heroin, then you can manage to accomplish anything in your life. And all you have to do is get started now.
Start planning, start quitting and then turn your life around. And if you do your best and put everything you have into this, then you will make it. You will survive. And you can use this opportunity to change your whole entire life, starting now. Good luck. And may the good force be with you.
