Once you're clean from heroin, then it's time to create a new you and create a new and better life for yourself and for your loved ones as well. First, work on yourself. Try to become a better person. Try to become the best person that you can possibly be.

1. Work on yourself:
Try to become a better person - the best person that you can possibly be. Try to become the best son, the best daughter, the best mother, the best father, the best husband, the best wife, the best boyfriend, the best girlfriend, the best brother, the best sister, the best cousin, the best grandfather, the best grandmother that you can possibly be. Be kind. Be honest. Be humble. Be positive. Live right as best as you can. Change yourself and you’ll change your life.
2. Take care of your health:
Take care of your health as best as you can. Start eating healthy, taking vitamins, supplements and drinking plenty of water. Go out for walks. Join a gym or do some form of exercise if you can; walking, jogging, running etc… Taking vitamins, eating healthy and doing some form of exercise will help to reduce symptoms of PAWS, Post Acute Withdrawal Syndrome and can help you to feel much better and recover much faster, emotionally, mentally and physically. And living a healthy lifestyle will help to counteract drug addiction and avoid relapse as well.
3. Work on your relationships:
Take care of your loved ones, family and friends as best as you can. If you’ve wronged someone then do everything you can to make amends and make things right as best as you can wherever you can and then keep moving forward and improving your life.
4. Work on your finances:
Set goals – financial goals. Work a full-time job, and maybe a part time job as well in order to save up some money and catch up on bills. Start a business. Work for yourself. Build a website. Make money online. Go to school. Learn a trade. Get certified. Get a degree. Start a new career – a fulfilling career. Work hard and do whatever it takes to get ahead financially.
With more money you can do more things. You can take better care of your family and better care of your friends. You can take care of your health and take care of yourself with all of life’s necessities. Money isn’t everything, but you can do a lot more things when you have more money and it can help to improve your life greatly. Therefore, work hard and do whatever it takes to increase your income and better your life and better the lives of others as well.
With more money you can do more things. You can take better care of your family and better care of your friends. You can take care of your health and take care of yourself with all of life’s necessities. Money isn’t everything, but you can do a lot more things when you have more money and it can help to improve your life greatly. Therefore, work hard and do whatever it takes to increase your income and better your life and better the lives of others as well.
5. Work on your housing circumstances:
If you’re happy where you are then great, wonderful. But if you want to move into a new apartment or a new home, in another town, another city or even another state then set a new goal to move and live where you want to live and keep working on that goal until you get there.
6. Work on your social life:
Good friends, real friends are hard to find. So don’t worry too much about finding and making new friends. Instead try to become the kind of friend you want to have and eventually the right people, like minded and like hearted people will come into your life. If you already have some real friends then focus on them, take care of them and show them appreciation every chance you get.
Stay close to your family and close to your friends. Stay away from the wrong type of people, unless of course they want to change. If they want to change then help them. And if not then let them be. And if you want to stay away from drugs and alcohol then don’t go to places where you’re most likely to find them. If you want to play it safe then go to places where you would bring your children to. If you want to have a better life then change people, places, things.

Set goals, create a step-by-step plan for achieving those goals and start working those steps until you achieve your goals. This alone can bring hope. Working on goals can bring hope. And people who strive for something significant are far more happier than those who don’t. |
Be thankful, show gratitude. Appreciative people tend to be happier and eventually have better lives.
Be positive. Think positive. Post positive things online. Put out as many positives out there as you can. It can help people, and eventually come back to you as well. The best way to be cheered up is to cheer someone else up. So if you want to be happy then help others to be happy :^) What we do, and how we treat people is soooo important.
