In Balance Counseling
In Balance is dedicated to providing top quality, interactive services for a chemically dependent population with moderate to severe drug problems. Its very name derives its commitment to address all four elements of an individual’s human being: physical, emotional, social, and spiritual. In Balance works in three different ways: using a 12-step curriculum, relapse prevention and incorporating experiential based therapy. Our philosophy is that by mixing up the different modalities, the group members feel an excitement about each and every session. Adults that have substance abuse issues need a great deal of support in order to bring about change. The In Balance program tries to incorporate a model of relapse prevention along with a 12-step curriculum and experiential based therapy. Our philosophy is that by mixing up the different modalities, the group members feel an excitement about each and every group so that each group seems different than the one before. Bringing the family into the program also enhances our ability to help achieve their goals as part of their recovery process. For more information please contact In Balance Counseling:

Desert Star Addiction Treatment Center
Desert Star offers outpatient and intensive outpatient treatment programs for people affected by addiction, whether that addiction is to drugs, alcohol, sex, or gambling. Family, group, and individual sessions are available. Our goal is to help each person understand their addiction cycle and learn new skills to live a healthy, productive, and sober life. Desert Star uses evidenced-based and practiced-based treatment. This includes combining traditional addiction therapy with treatment for mental health issues such as depression, anxiety, grief, loss, or trauma. Treating a person's mental health along with their substance use increases the chances that the person will recover from both. As part of this treatment process, medications may be suggested. Although no medications can cure dependence on drugs or alcohol, some medications do help people stay abstinent and improve the quality of their life. Other elements of Desert Star's holistic approach includes nutritional education, discussion of vitamin supplements, and auricular acupuncture as needed. Specialty Counseling: Desert Star offers a variety of specialty programs including Psychodrama, Family Therapy, Trauma Counseling, Seeking Safety, Spiritual Counseling, Grief and Loss, Auricular Acupuncture, and EMDR. For more information about any of our specialty counseling options, call Desert Star at (520) 638-6000.

New Hope Behavior Health Center
New Hope Behavior Health Center is an outpatient behavioral healthcare clinic that specializes in partnering with health care professionals to manage the very difficult and delicate task of withdrawing their opiate dependent patients. This is challenging, but rewarding work, and it enables you to distinguish between legitimate pain and induced pain associated with Withdrawal Syndrome. We cautiously and methodically use MMT (methadone maintenance treatment) to abolish first choice opioid use in stabilized patients. Concurrent with counseling, which we provide, and your good care, we keep you informed every step of the way. A complete treatment approach. This packet is meant to both introduce you to our work, and to avail ourselves to you as an alternative to simply releasing those patients who pose a liability to you. If our program sounds like a service you might use, we are available to come to you and discuss our program, how it works in detail, and how we may assist you in an area that is difficult to manage while ultimately fulfilling your true interest……Helping your patients.
