Santa Maria Valley Youth and Family Center: The Santa Maria Valley Youth and Family Center provides a range of prevention, early intervention and treatment services to children, parents and families in the Santa Maria, Orcutt and Guadalupe communities. Good Samaritan Services, Recovery Point
Good Samaritan Services, Recovery Point is a drug and alcohol treatment program that has been operating in Santa Maria, California since 1989. The program is state licensed for outpatient and inpatient treatment and is sanctioned by state MediCal. Recovery Point has the support of the County Department of Drug and Alcohol Programs, as well as county probation, parole officers and county judges. This innovative treatment has been recognized nationally. Former President Bush recommended Recovery Point as one of his “Thousand Points of Light” for its work in drug and alcohol addiction. The ADC High Gain Project
The ADC High Gain Project has been providing treatment services to alcoholics, addicts, family members and to our community since 1974. Options for Recovery/Stork Club: Changing the lives of women and children?. Since it's inception in 1990 during the cocaine epidemic, Options for Recovery/Stork Club has been in the business of helping women recover from alcohol and drug use to unite them with their children and family. Options for Recovery is a part of the Los Angeles Biomedical Research Institute (LA BioMed) at Harbor-UCLA Medical Center. Options for Recovery/Stork Club's mission is to provide comprehensive resource, education, support and recovery services to alcohol and drug abusing pregnant and/or parenting women. Options for Recovery provides and coordinates comprehensive, centralized services such as: intensive day treatment recovery services, medical care for women and their children, childcare, parent education, counseling services, and access to social service programs through case management. Options for Recovery's goal is to empower it's clients to implement the change necessary to achieve and maintain a drug-free, responsible lifestyle based on self-respect and respect for others. ​The NCADD/South Bay
The NCADD / South Bay is dedicated to the promotion of better health and greater safety in the South Bay and its neighboring communities. To accomplish this the Organization provides programs of education and prevention regarding the misuse of alcohol and other drugs and the diseases of alcoholism and drug dependence, and offers recovery and/or referral services to those afflicted with such problems and for their loved ones who also suffer. Fresh Beginning believes its mentorship, and incentive based approach can be vital in addressing the ever growing drug epidemic in our communities. Our drug prevention platform focuses on empowering, guiding, and educating our youth to live productive lives in a drug free school zone. We facilitate the development, maintenance and enhancement to youth and adults to contribute to healthy lifestyles and behaviors. Maynord’s Recovery Center
Maynord’s Recovery Center has been leading the way in substance abuse and addiction treatment services for 35 years. Helping men and women over the age of 18 abstain from the use of drugs and alcohol and maintain long term sobriety. Located near Yosemite National Forest and in the foothills in the Sierra Nevada our 22 acre ranch is in a serene setting with walking trails around a beautiful pond, there is a basketball court, Volleyball court with sand, plenty of outside sports equipment and an exercise room. We have developed a unique approach to drug and alcohol treatment through Peer support, Individual and group counseling followed up with family program. 2 years of continuing care is strongly suggested. We also have structured Clean and Sober living homes available upon completion of our treatment program over the years they have been proven to have a very high success rates for those who choose to live in a safe drug and alcohol free environment. Most treatment centers have programs that replicate and limit what they offer to their clientele, but at Maynord’s Recovery Center we have set ourselves apart from this repetitive process by incorporating Serenity retreats, long term continuing care, sober living and our yearly Round Up where our alumni, family and friends get together and camp out at Maynord’s for a weekend of fun filled activities for all.
