El Proyecto del Barrio Substance Abuse & Mental Health Services: This outpatient perinatal program provides counseling and referrals to clients with substance abuse and mental health problems. El Proyecto's Substance Abuse Program provides services for women who are pregnant, postpartum or parenting. The program is staffed by bilingual and drug-certified counselors who assist clients in areas including domestic violence / sexual abuse, self-esteem, peer support, life skills, health education, drug education, and parenting. The Proposition 36 Program provides services to first or second time non-violent drug offenders, who receive treatment rather than incarceration. Clinica Sierra Vista: From humble beginnings in a storefront warehouse, Clinica Sierra Vista has grown to become one of the largest, private, non-profit, community based and governed agencies in California. On campus, school-based addiction and substance abuse services are provided in Delano and Frazier Park to eligible adolescents referred by the local school district. We also provide Alcohol and other Drug counseling services to individuals, 18 and over, and their affected friends and families through our Delano Behavioral Health Center. Ettie Lee Youth & Family Services: Drug & Alcohol Treatment Program is for adolescents diagnosed with substance use disorders. Many of the children who suffer from mental health disorders also have a diagnosed substance related disorder or a significant level of substance use that negatively impacts their mental health disorders. Our history has demonstrated that approximately 85% of the children referred to us meet the criteria for a chemical abuse or dependence diagnosis. The curriculum integrates the DBT skills into the treatment. ​Little House: The program at Little House consists of many phases of treatment and residential services. We offer 28 residents the opportunity to remain in our program for six months or longer depending on their needs. We assist our clients breaking through their denial by offering educational groups and group therapy as well as individual counseling by certified Drug and Alcohol Counselors. Along with these groups we provide education in relapse prevention, anger management, co-dependency, domestic violence, self esteem, family addiction, occupational preparedness through the Department of Rehab to assist in job placement upon their graduation.
