Women’s Odyssey
Women’s Odyssey is a licensed and certified Residential Treatment Program, with strong 12-step orientation, in which every woman can acquire the skills to overcome her addiction(s) and develop a productive, sober way of life that fulfills her potential. The Odyssey House is a complete Treatment Facility, in a home like setting, that offers structure in a supportive atmosphere to assist residents in implementing the necessary steps to overcome addiction. The House was founded on the notion that our residents are not disabled, but have made poor choices and need to learn to make better choices to overcome their addiction. The foundation of treatment stems on three principals, accountability, responsibility and behaviors. After a very brief period of time, residents are required to secure employment, do volunteer work or go back to school to begin becoming self supporting. In the past 36 years, as many as 50 women a year have entered the doors of Women’s Odyssey, some staying for only a short period of time, and others completing the program. Many go on to be reunited with their children and families in a life of sobriety and as contributors to their community. Women’s Odyssey was founded as a non-profit 501(c) (3) tax exempt corporation in 1974. All donations are tax deductible. The Women’s Odyssey House has an active Alumni Association, a dedicated Board of Directors and enthusiastic support from the Judiciary and the General Recovery Community. Tri City Institute
Tri City Institute is the only outpatient upscale chemically dependent program that has been certified by the State of California and approved by the Federal and County Alcohol and Drug Agencies. We are accredited by CARF (Commission on Accreditation of Rehabilitation Facilities). Tri City Institute was opened in 1992 in order to fill in a gap. There was a population that needed drug treatment but nowhere for them to go for medical outpatient detox treatment. The patients we care for do not fit the typical stereotype. They are highly visible people who are well known in the entertainment field and happen to suffer from a disease but have nowhere to go for private and highly confidential outpatient detox care. We offer individualized treatment with a multimodal interdisciplinary approach. Methadone is an approved pharmacological tool used to suppress withdrawal symptoms and deaden the craving for Codeine, Vicodin, Percocet, Morphine, Dolophine, Heroin, and other opiates. Methadone enables you to lead a normal life while receiving treatment for your addiction problem. Tri City's professional treatment will bring about changes similar to those seen above.
